Morning Prayer (online)

Time: 8:30 - 9:00

We hold our morning prayer on Zoom.  There are two options for obtaining the link for this:

  1. It is in our weekly email updates. To be added to future updates, please subscribe here (and choose '2' to get the link immediately).
  2. Ask for the link by email.

There is no need to have any books, everything will be on the screen (for a good size of text it is recommended to use a computer or tablet rather than a smartphone).

Lent Book Group on Zoom

Time: 20:00 - 21:00

We are joining in with the Archbishop of Canterbury's big read, so the book is Living His Story:  Revealing the extraordinary love of God in ordinary ways: by Hannah Steele.  There is an accompanying booklet aimed at groups, called "LiveLent: God's Story Our Story" which has a weekly action, short daily readings and a prayer point.

For those who 'registered' in time, printed versions of the booklet should be available; please ask to see if there are any spare copies - or get an virtual copy here: Church of England Lent resources page.

The Group is meeting on Zoom - for connection details, please contact Lauryn Awbrey.

Holy week

Holy Week Short Retreats ‘Come Away …’ (Various times)

“Come Away…  ”  –  with so much of work, life and ministry based from home at the present, we need to try that bit harder to come away from it all.  Be encouraged to turn off your email notifications, switch your phone to silent, and set aside some time from the busyness to spend time in God’s presence, reading and reflecting on his Word and in fellowship with others.

These short retreats, based on The Feeding of the Five Thousand, from the gospel of Mark, are planned on the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of Holy Week  (29-31 March 2021).  Find out more with the ‘Come Away’ Flyer (PDF file) - or via the page on the Diocese website.
