Sunday 1st August 202109:30The Parish Eucharist for the Ninth Sunday after Trinity

This week's service is for an in-Church and an online congregation. 

Today we welcome as our President & Preacher Alan Smith, Bishop of St Albans; we are grateful to him for leading our worship. 

Our thanks to our Soloists (Andrew, Anna, Margaret & Sophie) for singing, to our Intercessor (Carol) and to our Live Stream Producer (Neil). 

If you are coming to Church, we have concluded that we will retain mask wearing and social distancing during services; we will keep the Church well ventilated and restart inside congregational hymn singing - more on our current arrangements page

This week, we will be serving coffee after the service. Weather permitting this will be outside, but if not then it will be in the Hall. This will be something of a “trial run” that we can learn from and make appropriate changes before it becomes a permanent feature once again.

we will be joined on Sunday after the service and over coffee by Alison Voyce, a local solicitor, who will give a short talk on ways in which we might remember St John’s in our Wills and to help sustain our Church for generations to come.
