Join us on the first Sunday of the month for Coffee Time after our 8am Holy Communion Service

Today's service is for an All-Age congregation and for an in-Church and an online congregation (all welcome, including visitors); our President & Preacher will be the Revd Tim.

Mask wearing is not required by St John’s. However, we do like to see masks wearing in crowded areas, such as during communion or when arriving and departing Church. Seats are set aside for those who wish to remain socially distanced and wear masks throughout the service. Please do leave this space for those who would like to make use of this.  We ask that you respect the social distancing wants of others; we will keep the Church well ventilated.

We have a 'Coffee Time' in the Church Hall immediately after the service.

We are as keen that our Visitors for the day join us as our regulars, so do please join us.

Update: Now at High Street Methodist in view of forecast Thunderstorms

On the Common, outside the Public Halls.  Harpenden Churches Together invite everyone to this time of worship and giving thanks for the Queen. A combined Choir is singing and the Salvation Army Band will be playing along with others.

Curious to know more about what is in the Good Book? what does it really say? Not sure where to start? Following on from the success of our Lent Course, we are starting a new monthly Bible Study.

To start with we are holding this as an afternoon in person or as an evening online. Please let Tim know if you'd like to come. Everyone is welcome!

We will meet monthly - 2pm on the second Wednesday in the Vicarage and 8pm on the fourth Wednesday on Zoom.

09:30Our Parish Eucharist for Trinity Sunday with Junior Church

Today's service is for an in-Church and an online congregation (all welcome, including visitors); our President will be the Revd Tim and Anne Edwards will preach.

We are meeting again for Junior Church. Learning from last month there will also be a Junior Church for specifically pre-school aged children. If you havent been before, it would be helpful if you could register in advance (but you can do on the day too), so please do so to Lauryn Awbrey.

We have started a new monthly silent meditation group at St John's. We meet in the Lady Chapel at 10.15-10.45am on the third monday of the month (not August). All are welcome, regardless of faith or experience.
