As well as spending extra time praying for our church and our world, we are also called to notice what is happening around us. Over the course of 7 weeks, Revd Tim is going to undertake prayer walks around the parish, with the aim of walking every street. Meeting at St John's at 10am, we will walk for about 30-45 minutes and finish with a hot drink at the vicarage as we share what we have noticed. If you cant make it, why not undertake a prayer walk where you live (ask Revd Tim if you are not sure how to do this) and let us know what you hear.

14:00St John's Welcomes you!

We are opening St John's from 2-4pm, for anyone new, returning members or current worshippers for a welcome afternoon. There will be tea and cake, church tours, activities for children and pre-schoolers, as well as displays and information on what goes on at St John's. All welcome and why not bring a friend?

Friday 26th November 2021 15:00Tea @ 3

Held on the last Friday of the month at 3pm in the Church Hall, it is an opportunity to meet for a chat over a cup of tea, homemade sandwiches and cakes, to catch up with old friends and make new ones.  Everyone is very welcome, so we would love to see you if you feel able to attend - lifts can be arranged where necessary.  For more information please contact Margaret Creighton.

Finding God in all things: As we prepare to welcome Jesus at Christmas, an opportunity to explore how we might find God more often at work, at home, at church and in creation.  Each session features input from local, national and international speakers, followed by a chance to reflect on our own experience of God in the last year and time to share how we might be find God more often. Confirmed Speakers

- Christian Cole, Youth Missioner at the Diocese
- Jane Mainwaring, Archdeacon of St Albans
