Our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) - effectively our AGM, will be next Sunday (officially two meetings in sequence - the Meeting of Parishioners followed by the APCM itself).

This is an important occasion where we elect the Churchwardens and PCC and our accounts are presented. There will also be an opportunity to discuss the life of St John’s, and is a chance to reflect on the past eighteen months and look forward to the challenges and opportunities for the coming months.

The Agendas, papers and reports for the meetings are now available (as a PDF file).

Sunday 25th October 2020 09:30Online service: Trinity 20 - The Widow's mites

This Sunday, Lauryn is going to reflect on the story of the widow’s mites, the ultimate example of sacrificial giving. Her gift is the greatest of all because she has so little to offer. Like the widow, we too must trust that God will provide for us. He has showered gifts upon us in abundance: creation, life itself, the life of his only Son, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The least that we can do is say “thank you” and give back to God some of the great riches that he has endowed us with.

It is available from 9:30am Sunday at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Jmd8Lgoxnc.
